Personal Checking is the economic choice if you write just a few checks a month, and generally maintain low balances. This account features check safekeeping; your paid checks will not be returned to you. However you are able to retain a carbon copy of all checks written, and your initial supply of duplicate checks will be provided free of charge.

24-Hour Banking by ATM
When you open a personal checking account, you are eligible for an Apple ATM Card or Apple Bank ATM/Check Card - your means to banking 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Apple Bank's own automated teller machines (ATM's) are located at all of our branches and are available for deposits, withdrawals, transfers and balance inquiries. You can also use any of the ATM's in the NYCE or CIRRUS networks of shared machines for withdrawals, transfers and balance inquiries.
Apple Bank's ATM/Check Card enables you to have full ATM card services. Though not a credit card, you may use the ATM/Check Card any where a VISA® card is welcome for purchases or cash advances. All charges made with this card will be deducted directly from your Apple Bank Checking account balance.

Your Apple ATM/Check Card is now protected by Verified by Visa -- it password protects your card for free. The next time you shop at participating online stores, enter the information requested to activate your Apple ATM/Check Card in order to complete the transaction.
